Yves Damette Joins YPI as Head of Fleet Operations

Yachting Partners International (YPI) has announced the appointment of Yves Damette as Head of Fleet Operations within the Yacht Management department. He is tasked with leading yacht management fleet operations and managing client relationships across its managed fleet, constantly seeking ways to add value for our owners and clients.

Yves joins YPI from one of the world’s largest private yachting fleets based in the UAE where he served as Fleet Operations Manager. Previously, Yves headed the Yacht Management Department at Y.CO in Monaco for nine years. During that time, Yves tripled the size of his team and oversaw the expansion of the fleet with yachts ranging from 30 to 130m in length.

Having worked in the superyacht industry for 25 years, both on-board and ashore, his extensive experience will be an invaluable asset to the organisation as it continues to evolve its range of services for yacht owners.

Adrian Tinkler, Yacht Management Partner at YPI said: “We are delighted to welcome Yves as our Head of Fleet Operations. His global outlook having worked in Spain, UAE and Monaco, yacht management experience, strong team approach and client understanding closely align to our priorities and company ethos. As we continue to expand our fleet and range of services, Yves will be central to delivering industryleading yacht management and customer experience for all of our clients.”

Yves Damette added: “Joining YPI is an exciting new chapter in my yachting career and I’m delighted to be joining an organisation with such a strong heritage, balanced with ambitious expansion plans. I’m excited to evolve our yacht management offering, seeking new ways to enhance the experience for yacht owners in the coming year and beyond.”
