Cramm Yachting Systems in the Netherlands is known for its innovative approach to superyacht product development. Now Cramm is releasing its latest development in deck-oriented life raft cranes to the superyacht market.

The all new designed deck-oriented life raft crane is fully manual and gravity operated, which means it is not dependent on having an independent stored power source on board. This enables superyacht designers and owners to have more flexibility in the deck layout design. Due to the manual and gravity operation, the crane can be placed virtually anywhere on the deck. This is especially convenient for those areas where there is less deck space and or independent stored power cannot be accommodated in the vicinity.

Reducing the need for independent stored power gives benefits in terms of lower costs of purchase, integration and ownership. Removing independently stored power also results in more interior space for the superyacht owner.

The CD9000M crane is designed to handle life rafts for 20 occupants (SWL1850kg) and is SOLAS/LSA approved by Lloyd’s Register. Each crane is built under Lloyd’s Register Survey and tested according to the latest IMO testing regime for Life Saving Appliances.

“The custom-made approach taken to all our products makes it possible to provide a solution where other specifications are required,” comments Paul Boelens, Sales Director. “All Cramm products are renowned for their guaranteed quality and designed to meet the highest possible standards worldwide for the superyacht industry. This newly designed deck-oriented life raft crane is no exception.”

Cramm Yachting Systems is a global market leader in the design, development and construction of hydraulic equipment for superyachts.
