Pelorus Opens Office in the USA

Drawn to sunnier climes and an adventurous lifestyle, Pelorus Co-Founder Jimmy Carroll will be permanently relocating to the USA.

From arriving in Antigua – in no usual fashion, via rowing boat having just completed the Atlantic Challenge – time spent across the pond since January has inspired Jimmy to relocate for a more permanent lifestyle.

In the current climate of travel, Pelorus has been fortunate to see first hand the measures the US has taken by its hotels, National Parks and operators, amongst many others, which have adapted to keep clients safe and to ensure ease of travel. Jimmy will build on the contacts the company has in the US and develop the inventory and find new exciting alternative experiences, accommodation and grow its network across the States.

Currently living in Austin, Texas, Jimmy is positioned perfectly to continue building on top-class expertise, and exploring the vast expanse of our adventure-rich neighbour, where opportunity is unrivalled. Set up to travel the length and breadth of the US, away from the office Jimmy will be exploring the rare and the remote in search for the most epic experiences and unique properties. Out on the road, Jimmy has already been catching up with clients from Florida and wider East Coast and out to West Coast – and a large amount in between as well – making the most of his new position in the US.

From rafting excursions through Central America’s Costa Rican jungles, followed by time on Mexico’s coast discovering Baja California’s magnificent marine life, before crossing into the USA to embark on an all-American road trip adventure through Texas to experiencing life on a ranch in Colorado, it comes as no surprise the USA has poached Jimmy from the UK based Pelorus HQ, to set up a new office in the States. 

Although the team has travelled the USA extensively and already embarked on several unique adventures with clients – including an extreme escapade into Alaska’s wilds, an other-worldly family vacation through the USA’s wilderness and a vibrant cowboy experience into Montana’s Wild West, to name a few – we are thrilled to hit the ground running once again with a newly established, permanent presence.

With a permanent influence in the USA now, Pelorus is excited to expand on its ever-growing presence and network of expert advisors across the States, as Jimmy travels regularly to meet clients and partners.
