At the Monaco Yacht Show Oculus Technologies will launch the latest version of its flagship product, YachtEye 3.0. The revised version boasts a range of new features with a fresh look and feel, plus an enriched map and additional content.

Focusing on delivering a wider range of content around marinas worldwide, Oculus Technologies has partnered with OnboardOnline who will provide marina data for integration in both YachtEye 3 (for yachts above 50m) and NAUTIQ (for yachts 20-50m).

Also new is an enriched Shiptracker feature with additional information about the yachts in your immediate vicinity provided by SuperYachtTimes.

The brand-new version of YachtEye will be released in HTLM5 with an upgrade to the interface and the addition of a range of new features including animations, the return of 3D terrain mode and data layers with external content such as points of interest, the best restaurants in town, a shark tracker and YachtEye’s Gallery for guests to share their images and videos onboard.

Focus on the needs of yacht crew

Our latest YachtEye update has a strong focus on the needs of crew helping them to be prepared for any situation, and allow them to relay information to guests onboard such as safety briefings. In a move to support a more digital solution for crew, YachtEye now offers a 'PDF files Module as a more efficient means of sharing information in digital format.

When it comes to going ashore, the crew are frequently asked for recommendations and information on what to do or see. To help crew to provide more comprehensive and detailed information, pre-selected websites can now be integrated into the YachtEye system giving access to websites for a particular venue or event.

NAUTIQ (For yachts 20-50m)

Launching at MYS 2017

Nautiq logo 3NAUTIQ is the latest innovation from Oculus, connecting owners, crew and guests not only to the yacht, but also to each other, a smart communication tool for yachts taking onboard service and safety to the next level and helping crew to increase their time efficiency.

Another great feature is the NAUTIQ box which uses your phone as a portal, so wherever you go during your journey you remain connected to the yacht's environment!

Now with just a few clicks on your phone, owners and guests can find out everything they need to know about the yacht and details about their stay onboard. This includes technical information, such as the year of build, the vessel length, max speed and gross tonnage, as well as the yacht's Wi-Fi password, today’s menu, wine selections and the tenders and toys available.

Focus on the needs of yacht crew

As with YachtEye, NAUTIQ also includes a range of useful features for crew. For charter yachts in particular, guests do not have as much time to get to know the yacht and the crew so NAUTIQ makes life easier by facilitating the sharing of information with guests to free up time to focus on delivering excellent service.

Please come and visit us at stand DES8 at the Monaco Yacht Show for a demonstration!
