MB92 Announces Changes to Board of Directors

On November 27, 2017, the MARINA BARCELONA 92, S.A. Board of Directors took account of the passing of Mr. Jorge Ventosa Garí, who was Chairman of the Board of Directors. Condolences and fond memories were expressed by all directors, along with gratitude for his great contribution and dedication as the founder of MB92. 

To fill the vacancy, it was agreed to appoint director Pepe García-Aubert as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Likewise, the Shareholders’ Meeting also noted the passing of Mr. Ventosa and of his removal as member of the Company Board of Directors. To fill the vacancy, it was agreed to appoint Alejo Ventosa Albert as a new member of the Board of Directors.

MB92 is a refit company that specialises in complex refit, repair and maintenance projects on over 100 superyachts of between 35m and 200m in length each year. The company boasts excellent infrastructure in the port of Barcelona, and in 2017 announced a Joint Venture with La Ciotat based Blohm+Voss as well as taking a 75% stake in Composite Works, also located in La Ciotat, thereby consolidating the first class service and facilities that MB92 is able to offer across the Mediterranean.
