JFA Yachts to Fit Out 135’ Motor Yacht Under Construction

JFA Yachts signed a « FIT OUT » contract for completing, testing and delivering of a 135’ Motor Yacht from Overing Yacht Design.

JFA Yachts has been chosen for its versatility in New Build and also the fact that it offers a diverse range of specialist craftsmen in house across various disciplines.

This project is well advanced. The steel hull and aluminum superstructure are completed, painting treatment is underway, a large part of interior is prefabricated but there is still 30% to be built, electrical wire and piping are installed but needs to be connected.

The yacht offers 5 guest cabins situated on the lower deck (3 double cabins, 2 twin beds cabins). The owner suite is on the main deck and uses the full beam of the boat. 15 large windows offer exceptional light to this large area of 80 square meter which corresponds to the area that can be found on 60m Motor Yachts. This suite contains the owner cabin, 2 bathrooms, a large dressing room and a saloon / owner office.

The main saloon with dining area is situated aft on the main deck and opens to the outside saloon and swim platform. Woodwork of this 135’ is made from American cherry wood.

Michael Kirschstein gave a classical ambiance to this interior enhanced with colored fabrics and granite for galley and bathroom worktops.

The yacht also offers large outside areas including a vast flybridge with jacuzzi, bar and saloon. The 2 tenders are stored on the upper deck. The aft swim platform is easily accessible for swimming using stairs or for tender access.

Regarding technical aspects, the boat is equipped with Caterpillar engine that gives 7, 000 nautical miles of range at 10 knots and is equipped with an elaborate zero speed stabilizer for 4 wings.

This project will benefit from the expertise of new build yacht and superyachts such as Axantha I & II and, of course, Bystander.

The delivery is programmed for 2015.
