ISYL - New Training Courses for Maritime Professionals

ISYL, the Italian Super Yacht Life Foundation has organised three new training courses through a joint initiative with NAVIGO, supported by shipyards based in Viareggio, to promote careers in the nautical sector.

A total of 75 places are available for high school graduates who wish to seize a great opportunity to acquire knowledge and technical skills applicable to the world of yachting and other maritime sectors such as logistics and tourism.

Supported by five shipyards, Azmimut Benetti Group, Cantieri Navali Codecasa, Overmarine Group, Perini Navi and Rossinavi, the ISYL Foundation (Higher Technical Institute) is  responsible for the technical preparation of young professionals to support growth in the nautical sector including the yachting industry.

The ISYL Foundation was established in 2015 in Viareggio, the capital of Italian shipbuilding and, with the support of NAVIGO, it has became a center for innovation and training for future generations of maritime professionals. With funding from the Tuscany Region through the Giovanisi project, ISYL has successfully trained numerous superyacht captains, refitters, logistics specialists and tourism managers.

In September and October 2020, ISYL also plans to host some virtual open days for high school graduates where they can learn more about the courses and opportunities available.
