Interior Specialist Lynne Edwards Joins The Crew Academy
The Crew Academy is delighted to announce that hospitality expert and industry figurehead, Lynne Edwards, is joining The Crew Academy’s team of specialist educators in the capacity of in-house interior trainer.
Lynne EdwardsHaving first completed a HND in Hotel Catering & Institutional Management in Oxford, Lynne has more than thirty years of experience within the luxury and hospitality industries. Ten of these were served aboard luxury motor yachts and a further twenty in other yacht-related and villa management companies for very discerning and HNW clients.
Seeking a new challenge, Lynne recently became a PYA Council Member, assisting with the representation of the Interior Department, and also a PYA GUEST-approved trainer.
In early 2016, Lynne will begin working for The Crew Academy as their in-house interior trainer, where her skills will be demonstrated in a range of training courses. From Yacht Service Levels 2 and 3 to Food Safety in Catering Awards 2 and 3, as well as expertise in training in villa concierge,management and villa representation in the Alpes Maritimes, Lynne has extensive practical experience in all aspects of interior management, including departmental budgets, work rotas, acquisitions as well as supplier and staff management.

Respected yacht and hospitality trainer Lynne joins an already impressive group of specialists and experts from across the world, including the yachting industry’s sole qualified yacht purser trainer, Angie Wallace.
