Inauguration of the International Yacht Club Antibes

Port Vauban has a unique history that merges its rich heritage with contemporary advances. Since 2017, the company Vauban 21 (SAS comprised of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, the Caisse des Dépôts and the Caisse d’Epargne Côte d’Azur) has embarked on a vast €135 million transformation programme, guided by the eminent architecture studio Philippe Prost AAPP. As we continue to remodel our marina, it is gradually becoming the most attractive destination on the Côte d’Azur, reinforcing Port Vauban’s position as the leading yachting and pleasure craft centre in the Mediterranean.

In 2022, the International Yacht Club d’Antibes (IYCA) underwent a remarkable metamorphosis with the establishment of an ultramodern Yacht Club associated with a completely renovated superyacht dock. It includes the Quay Camille Rayon which is unique in the Mediterranean, with the largest berth at 150 metres long, accommodating up to 20 superyachts from 70 metres.

Access to the Camille Rayon dock is ISPS controlled 24/7, allowing the team to guarantee clients’ total security and confidentiality during their stay. Specific services have also been developed to meet the expectations of an international clientele. Recently installed modern infrastructure includes vacuum pumping for  black  and grey water, fibre optics and increased electrical power. The quay also offers relaxation areas and private works areas for the crews.

The Yacht Club IYCA

The Yacht Club, whose design has been inspired by an explorer vessel, offers first-class spaces and facilities for the clientele of the Camille Rayon quay and its members. The new International Yacht Club d’Antibes IYCA offers its clients, who are looking for discretion, a premium and personalised welcome in the helipad lounge adjacent to the Helistation. Clients and members can enjoy a lounge bar, confidential meeting rooms, panoramic terraces and a Crew Center dedicated to crews with a lounge area, a gym and a training studio. On the upper levels, there is a lounge bar open every day from 5pm to 11.30pm, two panoramic terraces of 700m² in total, with an amazing view of the Fort Carré, the Cap d’Antibes.

On 17 May, more than 450 Guests were present to celebrate the inauguration of the International Yacht Club of Antibes. With the support of our sponsors Palumbo Superyachts Refit, Blade, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and Pantaenius, it was a festive evening for the yachting community.

With a full range of mooring options, both during the summer and winter months, a dedicated team is available all year round to welcome and assist clients for short or long stays at the IYCA. Vauban 21 has partnered with Burgess and Edmiston to offer long term guarantee of use contracts (CGU) for the Camille Rayon berths.
