Discover Ischia Island Away from the Masses

For owners or charter guests who want to experience the Gulf of Naples this summer, but far away from the masses, Ischia Island is the ideal yachting destination for an isolated cruise. This unexplored superyacht haven is one of the most beautiful, despite being relatively unknown.

The largest of the volcanic islands that covers just 17 square miles of green paradise, Ischia is prized for its stunning natural beauty, beautiful secluded beaches and thermal waters in the Tyrrhenian sea. The 100 thermal springs scattered around the island, have countless healing properties and are a must for those looking to reset their mind, body and soul. Awash with spectacular landscapes and countryside, it is without a doubt one of the lesser known Mediterranean’s jewels.

Despite being tiny, the island offers an array of activities for guests to do during their time there. Just a few of the highlights are the Botanical Gardens, known as the most beautiful ones in Europe and that covers 2 hectares. Divers can explore the underworld archaeological remains of the ancient Aenaria site in the Bay of Cartaromana. For those wishing to keep their feet firmly on the ground, trekking and riding are an excellent way to explore the island. A visit to the island would not be complete without a visit to the 2-star Michelin restaurant Dani Maison, to experience Chef Nino di Costanzo’s sublime creations. Bespoke experience packages can be developed for guests to get the most out of their visit.

Yachts can berth at Casamicciola Marina on the 100m Molo Barocco quay berth, and guests can meet the yacht there by taking a 15-minute helicopter flight from Capodichino Naples. The superyacht berths and helipad are exclusively managed by Evolution Yachting, and the island offers not only an excellent cruising destination but is an ideal turnaround point for charter yachts with guests flying to the island to start their charter.

With a population of approximately 60,000 inhabitants, the island at the moment has no cases of COVID-19.

Evolution Yachting has 20 offices across the Mediterranean; Spain, Italy, France, Monaco, Greece, Turkey, Montenegro, Croatia and Albania.
