Northrop & Johnson is delighted to announce the arrival of David Seal as a yacht broker in the Northrop & Johnson Antibes office.

David comes to Northrop & Johnson after a lengthy career in the yachting industry with companies such as Ferretti Group, where his role was sales manager of the CRN Shipyard, and Camper & Nicholsons, where — as a sales broker — he developed unique marketing techniques resulting in the sales of numerous yachts ranging from 85 to 150 feet.

Born in the West Midlands of England, David’s path to the yachting industry is far from typical. David moved to Italy in 1994, where he met Mr. Norberto Ferretti and became fascinated by Ferretti craft.

He started his career in yachting as an interpreter at Ferretti business meetings and began to develop English language yacht operation manuals for owners and captains. David grew with the company, which became Ferretti Group, to become sales manager of the CRN Shipyard.

In 2006, after many years with Ferretti, David decided to try his hand in the world of yacht brokerage. He started at a small boutique brokerage where, within the first year, he closed the largest sale the brokerage had ever achieved.

A few years later, David moved on to Camper & Nicholsons, where he developed unique marketing techniques resulting in the sales of numerous yachts ranging from 85 to 150 feet.

David enjoys blogging and posting yacht videos, which are viewed by thousands. He regularly expresses his insights with yachting media and enjoys sharing his knowledge.

David’s expertise, experience and enthusiasm will be an integral part of his success at Northrop & Johnson. We are excited to welcome him to our team of excellent yacht brokers.
