The Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) is pleased to announce that the seventh edition of its World Champions Awards Giving Ceremony will be held on Saturday, March 5th, 2016 at the prestigious Sporting Monte-Carlo, Monaco.

The whole powerboating and international sport community will gather once again to reward the world’s best drivers and to celebrate the success of the 2015 season.

The wide array of UIM World Champions will take to the stage alongside invited sports legends for an award ceremony that will be attended by key industry stakeholders, VIP guests as well as by top representatives from UIM member federations, international sport federations, and institutions, coming to Monaco from all over the world.

The UIM World Champions Awards Giving Ceremony will be followed by a press conference and will culminate with a glamorous gala dinner taking place at the Salle des Etoiles, at 8.00 pm.

The event will be the perfect occasion not only to celebrate last season’s champions but also to present the UIM Special Awards such as the Stefano Casiraghi Memorial Trophy, the Safety Award, the Sam Griffith Memorial Trophy and the UIM Environmental Award and Special Mentions.

Dr. Raffaele Chiulli, UIM President stated:
