The Panama Posse Rally connects sailors from California to Florida for the first time, creating life-long friendships while exploring new countries and cultures, safely and without breaking the budget.
Kicking off on 4th December until July 2021, the Fourth Panama Posse Rally is a seven month adventure, highlighting the start of the cruising season. It will take place across 13 countries, offering 4,500 nautical miles of 500 verified anchorages and 36 marina sponsors.
Whether you’re sailing around Mexico, heading for Panama, leaving from California towards the Canal or heading south from Florida, you can join hundreds of yachts and fellow mariners for fun, adventure, and the experience of a lifetime. Boats ranging from 32 to 225 feet, set their own schedule while enjoying all the perks of membership and the safety of their own vessel.

The 2020/21 kick-off launch will be both virtual and physical in adherence to Covid-19 mitigation strategies. The Panama Posse has also published specific pandemic related guidelines to help all marinas and countries minimize pandemic related risks.
Marina Puerto de la Navidad in Barra de Navidad, Mexico will host the kickoff seminars starting on 4 December with social distancing, and all seminars will be recorded and made available on demand for all Panama Posse participants. Seminar topics will cover navigation, route planning, open CPN satellite overlay on electronic charts, provisioning, organized land tours and exclusive free access to GoodNautical, a global non-profit maritime information site.
All anchorages along the way are vetted and updated by participants, documented and shared via our live cruising guide, GoodNautical, which all participants can access.
