Hugh Bonneville Opens Sunseeker Stand at London Boat Show

The Sunseeker London Group enjoyed a great weekend entertaining the crowds at the London International Boat Show. Joined by their teams from across Europe, the Sunseeker stand was busy with activity including the arrival of the highly anticipated 131 Yacht launch.

The first day of the show, commenced with Phil Popham CEO Sunseeker International, out lining some of the exciting plans for Sunseeker planned for 2016 including a recruitment drive in hiring 225 new people across various disciplines and skills over the first half of 2016.

Robert Braithwaite CBD DL introduced the busy stand and crowds of ExCeL to Hugh Bonneville, one of Britians finest actors, famed for his starring roles in Downtown Abbey, Paddington, W1A and up and coming role playing Lord Mount Batten in the Viceroy.

Continuing the celebrations, The Overtones performed some of their best selling hits to the hundreds of guests and press visitors in the audience.

The Sunseeker London Group escorted Robert and Hugh down to the brand new 131 Yacht ‘ZOZO’. Recently presented to her new owner, the crowds cheered with delight as the official launch took place for all to see. After the show the 131 Yacht will depart from the London Show for warmer climes!

The Sunseeker London Group is also pleased to announced the launch of their new RYA Training Academy to deliver boat handling and navigation courses for new owners and prospective boat owners. The James Brooke Academy principle and who is at the show, is a Yachtmaster Instructor, former Royal Marine Commando and served 7 years on the RNLI Leamington lifeboat.

Christopher Head, Sales Director, Sunseeker London Group comments “We are excited to be offering training courses to prospective boat owners of all abilities and we are delighted to welcome James to our team. His experience will enable owners the highest standard of training through The James Brooke Academy.”

The Sunseeker stand again this year is helping support two chosen charities this year; The PAH Princess Alexander Hospital breast cancer clinical trials and SignIt. PAH is hosting a space on the stand with friends from Art De Vivre and selling special golden and pink raffle tickets to be in the chance of winning one of many fantastic prizes, including a 7 night stay in the Seychelles!
