Flynt: A New Brand Of Hand-Crafted, Fully-Custom Powerboats

Every so often, a new kid comes to town who changes the status quo. A different breed of boat that questions the ‘how’ and the ‘why’. A fresh idea that incorporates speed and exhilaration with endless lines, quality and beauty. A concept that considers the owner experience above all else. Introducing Flynt, a new brand of hand-crafted, fully-custom powerboats that fuse passion with performance to deliver the ride of your life.

Flynt 956 Nova is the debut model, custom built to order by hand at Flynt’s headquarters in Hengelo, in the Dutch province of Overijssel. Designed by renowned Dutch studio Vripack, Flynt 956 Nova features a deep-V planing hull that tears across water. Moulded from composite polyester, it is efficient, rapid and easy to manoeuvre. At a compact 9.56m (32ft) Flynt 956 Nova offers comfort and versatility. Small enough to be easily transported or docked at a 10m long pier. Large enough for weekend cruising in a spacious and practical boat.

A luxurious double cabin and sumptuous edge-to-edge seating in the cockpit invite the best of on-the-water living. Two custom, adjustable Recaro sport seats ensure a wild driving experience. The free-standing wood-lined panoramic windshield affords clear visibility, while the leather-lined, digital Simrad dashboard and leather sports steering wheel adds the finishing touch. Powered by 350, 380 or 430 horsepower (with the choice of single or dual engines) Flynt delivers top speed performance.

“Flynt is different because the brand doesn’t compromise on user experience, in aesthetics or performance,” says Joost Mertens, designer at Vripack. “For a 32ft boat the Flynt 956 Nova offers the complete package. A pleasantly shaped sun bathing and seating arrangement, a professional and ergonomic well-balanced helm, and an elegant interior cabin, which collectively form the Flynt DNA.”

Speaking about the collaboration with Vripack, Sanders comments: “It’s not easy to accurately translate a personal vision to paper, but the team at Vripack have an innate sense for what is required, and brought Flynt to life through intuitive design. This marks the beginning of an exciting new era in powerboats.”
