First Foreign-flagged Superyacht Chartering New Caledonia

The popular 37m MASTEKA 2 has a new exciting destination. Following an extensive shipyard period, Captain Matthew Stafford looks forward to welcoming charter guests in New Caledonia.

New Caledonia has the world‘s largest lagoonin the world: 24,000 km2, proclaimed a world heritage site by UNESCO. It offers a 1,500 km (930 miles) long coral reef, inhabited by a vast variety of marine life.

Described as “the land of eternal spring” it is blessed with a pleasant sub-tropical climate all year around, July to September are the most popular months to watch humpback whales shelter in the lagoon, travelling from Antarctica to breed and give birth.
