Over the next few months, the World Superyacht Awards Jury - comprised of 22 superyacht owners and two senior industry professionals – will travel the globe making personal visits to each of the shortlisted yachts.
Their first-hand testimonies, coupled with detailed information provided by the yachts’ owners, builders and designers, will help them decide the winners of the most coveted awards in yachting.
The 2016 Judges Meeting will be held in London during March where the results of their deliberations will remain secret until the winners are announced at the gala evening on Saturday 14 May in the Palazzo Vecchio, Florence.

In addition to the gala evening, guests attending the World Superyacht Awards are encouraged to extend their stay in Florence and enjoy a full weekend of social events including a Finalists Celebration Party, in association with Stefano Ricci, taking place on Friday 13 May in central Florence, held in honour of the owners, builders and designers responsible for the finalist yachts.
Guests will have the opportunity to participate in a Cultural Programme where they will experience a few of the best kept secrets in Florence, including an exclusive viewing of celebrated designer, Temple St. Clair’s goldsmiths' workshop. There, with the designer herself, you will pass through time into an artisanal world unchanged since the Middle Ages. The visit will include a presentation of St. Clair's bespoke jewels and an intimate demonstration of how pure gold is crafted.
Running from Friday through to Sunday afternoon, there will be an exciting variety of cultural and hedonistic selection of experiences that will give everyone a taste of the city, which you won’t want to miss out on!
Due to the exclusive setting of this year’s Awards, a sell-out event is expected, so be sure to make your table applications promptly via the event website to avoid disappointment.
