Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro Gets Underway

After 25 years in Monaco, today Porto Montenegro welcomed the first edition of the Superyacht Rendezvous Montenegro in partnership with Boat International Media. Superyachts Alyssa (39m, Tansu), Exuma (50m, Vitruvious / Perini), Infatuation (41.6m, Jongert), Komokwa (41m, Horizon Yachts), Lady Petra (41m, Heesen), Logica 147 (45m, Logica Yachts), Queen of Andaman (41m, Silyon Yachts) and Stella Fiera (41, Benetti) are all in attendance, and make a spectacular sight lined-up along the newly extended Jetty One.

The Rendezvous began with the Embraer Executive Jets Lunch at Ribarsko Selo, a restaurant renowned for its stunning location and delicious, fresh seafood. However, later the fun will really begin with a Cocktail Competition hosted by Aries – Trieste Chamber of Commerce. The Yacht Hop provides a fantastic opportunity for guests to go on-board these fabulous superyachts as well as the chance to catch up and meet all the other participants of the Rendezvous.

Friday brings the Cruise in Company. The superyachts will set off from Porto Montenegro and head out into the Bay of Kotor for the Parade of Sail and aerial photo shoot. The procession of yachts will then navigate towards Our Lady of the Rocks for the opportunity to take in a private tour of the historical landmark. A delicious lunch of local Montenegrin produce then awaits at the riverside restaurant - Stari Mlini. Yachts will then return to Porto Montenegro at their own leisure or perhaps take a spin on the Cantiere Savona Luxi33 tender. The day will then round off with a whiskey tasting by Misahara at the Regent Hotel.

Saturday proposes many opportunities for guests to savour some of the local culture or experience the extraordinary scenery by choosing an activity that best suits the mood. Whether it be an adrenalin rush canyoning down one of the Kotor mountains; hiking in the hills to take in the glorious view; a culinary experience to relish; or pampering at a superb spa resort, there is something for everyone.

The event will finish with the Superyacht Rendezvous Party at Porto Montenegro Yacht Club which commences with a drinks reception by Misahara. A live band will play into the night and guests will dance under the stars by the shimmering Bay of Kotor - a fitting end to an unforgettable Rendezvous.
