singapore

We are pleased to announce that both Luxaviation and MTU have confirmed their return to this year’s Singapore Yacht Show as sponsors. As leaders in their respective sectors, each company represents the excellence that the Show continually strives to present to visitors.

Having become a valued partner to the Show in 2014, following the opening of its offices in Singapore and the introduction of its services in Asia, private jet operator Luxaviation will be returning once again with exclusive offers to bring special guests and VIPs to Singapore for the Show.

“We are thrilled to be back at the Show in 2015. As a business aviation operator, our services complement the luxury lifestyle of the yachting world and thus the Show is ideal for showcasing our services to the wealthy private individuals of South East Asia who are attracted by new lifestyles choices.” says Patrick Hansen, co-CEO Luxaviation Group.

APYC sets sail for world class

MTU will once again be a major support to the event, as title sponsor of The Captains’ Lounge – Powered by MTU and co-sponsor of the Asia Pacific Yachting Conference, both located in the ONE°15 Marina Club adjacent to the Show.

Themed “Towards World Class”, the two-day Conference will address the issues, challenges and opportunities of a dynamic region that is making waves on the world stage.

Co-chaired by Martin Redmayne (The Superyacht Group) and Tim Coventry (special advisor to the Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Korea), industry and business leaders will take to the stage at the APYC to share their journeys to achieving world-class performance in their respective fields.

To be hosted at the ONE°15 Marina Club’s Iconic Tower, which has floor-to-ceiling views across the Show, this year the Captains’ Lounge – powered by MTU will include a number of innovative features. With complementary food and beverages available to invited crew and industry professionals, there will be extended opening hours to allow for greater educational and networking opportunities, all made possible by the hospitality of MTU.

Singapore Yacht Show Mobile App

New in 2015, the Singapore Yacht Show is introducing a bespoke mobile app to maximise visitors’ access to key information before, during and after the Show.

The app is specifically designed to give exhibitors greater visibility to visitors, with yacht listings, maps, access to registration, the ability to request appointments with exhibitors, useful information for visitors, as well as a schedule of events during the Show. The Singapore Yacht Show app will be available for Android and Apple and is due to be released in March 2015 – more information to follow in the upcoming weeks.

Lucanna Luxuria Auction

Adding value to the visitor experience at the Show and for the first time this year, Lucanna - Singapore’s first boutique auction house – will be hosting its ‘Fine Arts & Exquisite Luxuria Auction’ in conjunction with the Singapore Yacht Show. The auction will take place on 25 April from 4pm to 6pm.

A preview of the auction lots will be held on 24 April from 10am to 8pm and 25 April from 10am to 4pm. Auction experts will be on hand to guide visitors through the lots and offer professional advice.

Lucanna specialises in unique Asian and Western fine art, antiquities, jewellery and gemstones, watches and collectables. The auction is expected to be a huge draw for collectors from around the region hoping to invest in the exciting lots brought to the Show.

Lounges and Displays

This year’s event will be all about immersive experiences for visitors – whether for boating, yachting or luxury items – alongside the usual activities such as car displays and fashion shows. For a fun, productive and educational experience at the Show, there will be a greater variety of lounges and information points to accommodate all visitors and their interests.

From educational displays and informative booths to invitation-only private lounges, the full range of needs have been considered and will give visitors plenty of reasons to come back for more than one day at the Show.
