Preview: Discover the First 12 Superyachts Registered for Caribbean Charter Yacht Show 2022

As the second edition of the Caribbean Charter Yacht Show (CCYS) fast approaches, IGY Marinas and the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA) are excited to announce the registration of the first 12 yachts that will be in attendance.

With charter brokers and industry professionals flying in from all over the world, CCYS 2022 is set to be the ideal event at which to showcase your charter vessel ahead of the Caribbean winter season.

All registered yachts are listed on the show’s website as well as IYBA’s yachtbroker.org website. In addition, all participating yachts benefit from a complimentary profile featured on the charter marketing platform Superyacht Stories including Q&As with the captain and chef, sample menus, images, specs and  client testimonials as well as promotion on social media.

The first 12 superyachts registered for CCYS and available for Caribbean charters

Read on for a rundown of the spectacular superyachts attending this year’s event:

Aquanova: Offering stylish accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins, the 45.72m Aquanova is a home away from home on the water. Equipped with a children’s playroom, movie theatre, beach club and gym, she caters to all the family, while adrenaline junkies will be particularly excited about her varied collection of water toys.

Babas: The largest Hargrave build to date, Babas' designer fabrics, plush leather, custom furniture, mirror mosaics, and a minimalist interior add to the exceptional craftsmanship of this new yacht, which launched in 2020. 

Champagne Seas: Luxurious by name, luxurious by nature, this 2004 built Custom Line marries both style and substance with elegant fresh interiors and state-of-the-art amenities including widescreen televisions, a full entertainment system and much more. Boasting an impressive crew-to-guest ratio of 7:12, guests will be more than well-catered to during their time on board.

Corazon: Built in 2012 and refitted in 2022, this fantastic sunseeker yacht is new to charter, yet promises one of the most exhilterating trips on the market. Family friendly with a versatile, open layout perfect for entertaining guests, she boasts an open plan main deck which seamlessly connects the airy main salon and comfortable dining area which seats up to 10, plus a game table.

Helios 2: Back again for the second year running, the stunning 51m Helios 2 features five spacious staterooms, a jacuzzi, and numerous  outdoor spaces for sunbathing, entertaining and dining. Built in 2002, she was refitted in 2019 and sleeps 10

Mariah Princess III: As one of two sailing yachts to register with CCYS to date, Mariah Princess III offers a supremely smooth cruising experience for up to eight guests. Recently built in 2020, highlights of this beautifully crafted Lagoon yacht include a flybridge jacuzzi with 360° views, a home theatre in the main salon and an impressive plethora of water toys.

Next Chapter: Built in 2003 with a full refit in 2018, Next Chapter is beautifully maintained and the perfect charter option for groups ranging from large families to friends and couples. Her defining features include a large beach club, split-level master stateroom with observation lounge and a fully enclosed air conditioned gym on the sun deck, while 14 crew take care of up to 12 guests.

QTR: Fresh from a 21/22 refit which saw this 35.4m superyacht updated with brand new artworks, soft furnishings and an innovative AV system, QTR now comes complete with every amenity you would expect of a leading charter yacht. Lustrous wood finishes and fresh neutral fabrics create a calming aura both inside and out on this 2009-built vessel, which is also home to a jacuzzi, hydraulic swim platform, two full-service bars and an enviable array of water toys.

Seaclusion: With her Bohemian chic décor and generous indoor and outdoor communal spaces, this beautiful 80ft Sunreef catamaran is an excellent choice for families and smaller groups of friends. Recently built in 2020, she is in perfect condition, with accommodation for up to eight guests in four lavish cabins.

Silver Lining: Launched in 2016 by renowned American yacht builder Christensen and fully refitted in 2021, Silver Lining’s timeless styling and elegant atmosphere provides the perfect setup for a luxury superyacht charter. Sleeping up to 12 guests in six cabins, she also features plenty of bar space, a 10-person jacuzzi surrounded by large sunpads and a loyal crew of 10 for whom no request is too big.

Slipstream: Built in 2009 by CMN Yachts and measuring an impressive 60m, this multi award-winning neo-Art Deco masterpiece is designed for absolute hedonistic pleasure, and will go beyond any expectation you might have of a yacht charter experience.

Touch: From her large eight-person jacuzzi and spacious socialising areas to a lavish owner’s deck featuring a mosaic tile floor and an artisan crafted glass-lit wall, no detail was spared when it came to the design of the 36.58m Touch. Built in 2004 and refitted in 21/22, she sleeps up to eight guests, all who will be blown away by her modern amenities and world-class chef who excels at French, Asian and Italian cuisine.

Hosted at IGY’s flagship marina Yacht Haven Grande in St Thomas from 8-11 December, all attending yachts benefit from competitive registration and dockage fees with no minimum stay.
