Allmode has put together a team of brave and competitive ladies to compete in this year’s 24 peaks challenge in the Lake District, which will be the first time an all-female team has participated in the event.

On the 12th and 13th of July, teams will climb 24 peaks in 24 hours to to raise money for Seafarers UK, a charity for seafarers in need. Money raised will make a real difference to people's lives across the Merchant Navy, fishing fleets, Royal Navy and Royal Marines, with Seafarers UK last year awarding grants of over £2.5 million pounds to over 80 maritime charities.

Allmode is an international Security company based in the Isle of Man which provides a number of security services across the globe, one of which is security to the maritime industry.

'By working closely with different personnel throughout the maritime sector, this charity event is one which affects not only ourselves as a company and our clients, but also our operators who are drawn from military backgrounds to include the Royal Navy and Royal Marines to name but a few.'

The Allmode ladies team is compiled from ladies who work within the Allmode offices but also wives and girlfriends of the operators.

Having shown support to their men whilst they served in the armed forces, Allmode felt that the trend should carry forward as they now choose to protect our seafarers around the globe.

'This will be a huge challenge but we will give it our all and hopefully achieve our goal. It is a fantastic cause and one which is very close to our hearts.'

'The Maritime Operators within our Company are all from military backgrounds drawn from all the different armed forces and it has always been known what a fantastic job military families have done over the years to support their men and women who serve to protect our country.'

'What is not always seen is how that support can carry forward into the civilian world, and in our case in the security industry where our men (predominantly) choose to continue to risk their lives protecting our seafarers around the globe. It is for this reason that we at Allmode feel this is such a great cause and one which we are proud to represent.'
