METS, 18-19-20 November 2014 in Amsterdam RAI, is the only international B2B exhibition for the marine leisure industry.

It’s the perfect place to forge profitable relationships and it showcases new product launches by 1,345 exhibitors from over 40 countries.

Far more than just an exhibition, METS combines new products, seminars and unrivalled networking opportunities for visitors to connect across countries, technologies and industry sectors.

Year after year METS proves itself as the annual one-stop platform for the entire marine leisure industry: boat and yacht builders, naval architects, yacht designers, interior builders, naval engineers, yacht captains and crew, marine industry consultants, yacht brokers, charter boat operators, and much more.

METS

A record number of 1,345 companies have registered to attend as exhibitors. This figure already surpasses the total for METS 2013 (1,320) and, as the final few places are filled, this leading three-day event for the global marine equipment sector is gearing up to be the biggest and best to date!

Innovation has been a crucial theme at METS since this leading B2B marine equipment trade show opened its doors in 1988.

Surveys of the many thousands of visitors from around the world consistently show that innovation is the number one reason to come to Amsterdam each year for METS.

With this in mind, METS organisers Amsterdam RAI are introducing the brand-new ‘‘Innovation LAB’’, an onsite activity platform that pays even greater attention to the exhibition’s innovations, products and technologies. This year’s METS is planned to take place from 18 until 20 November.

With a full show floor, with over 1,320 exhibitors expected of which 220+ are new companies from around the world, and larger SuperYacht, Marina and Construction Materials Pavilions than ever, METS 2014 is sure to be an unmissable event for professionals in the leisure marine equipment industry. Taking a forward-thinking approach, the METS organisers continually seek new and innovative ways to enhance the show’s attractions even though it is already the world’s leading event of its kind.

Prestigious award

By tradition, METS highlights the innovative character of the industry via its renowned DAME (Design Award METS) award. The winners of this prestigious prize receive enormous publicity throughout the global leisure marine industry and the DAME award stimulates the industry to invest in research and development.

“Innovation propels the marine equipment sector forward and METS has long been the platform of choice when it comes to showcasing new (design) developments,” says Amsterdam RAI’s maritime domain manager Irene Dros. “In addition to the DAME awards, with its extra focus on design, METS always showcases thousands of innovations and new products. Due to the large number and wide range of marketing and promotion opportunities, not all these premieres get the attention they deserve. The new ‘Innovation LAB’ concept will resolve this through a variety of channels.”
