Mediterranean Yacht Show 2022: What’s Happening so far

Yesterday, on its third day, the MEDYS welcomed visitors to the graphic port of Nafplion from 10:30 to 18:30 for a full day of exploring the wonderful selection of yachts. With three days having gone by, brokers have had the chance to visit a significant number of the participating craft and they have begun forming impressions, deciding which yachts are their top suggestions for the upcoming charter season.

The welcoming hospitality of Greece, ever-present, shone through once again yesterday, as crews invited brokers on board to experience unique moments on the incredible luxury yachts. This provided opportunities for personal conversations, bonding with captains and crews, and moments to reflect on the various amenities and opportunities available on each yacht. The outstanding port of Nafplion also once again proved to be an unmatched location for the event, providing a historical backdrop that impresses in any weather and a number of welcoming places for attendees to relax.

The Chef’s Competition continues

The Chefs’ Competition continued yesterday with the Chefs in the A Platinum Category providing impressive and intricate dishes.

Creativity was at an all time high, as they discovered new ways to make intriguing vegan dishes, leaving the judges satisfied, inspired, and with a lot to contemplate.

The Tablescaping competition also highlighted the exceptional imagination of the stewards and stewardesses as the competition dishes were served on beautifully arranged tables with designs that displayed the thought and care that was put into each setting.

Day four: what’s still to come

Today, at the fourth day of the Show, brokers will have the chance to discover the yachts which they have not yet gotten to, or those that they would like to examine in more detail, which is critical with the extensive number of services and opportunities available.

It is also a wonderful chance for them to delve further into why Greece is an incredible yachting destination. The safe waters, temperate climate, and indescribable natural beauty paired with the unique yacht options will undoubtedly stand out to brokers more with each day they spend at the Show.

The next few days

This evening at 7pm the award ceremonies for the Chef’s Competition, Tablescaping Competition, and Designer Water Competion will take place at the MEDYS lounge. The anticipation for the announcement of this year’s winners is at an all time high, and we are all looking forward to finding out the expert judge’s final decisions.

Two days still to go, the 7th MEDYS will continue to grasp the attention of the global audience and the participating brokers, through its unparalleled collection of yachts, the exceptional services on offer, and the ongoing competitions and awards. Join us for the final two days of the MEDYS 2022.
