All eyes are on OneOcean Port Vell ahead of The Superyacht Show which opens in Barcelona tomorrow with a line-up of 30 exceptional yachts available for private viewings.

Organised by the Large Yacht Brokers Association (LYBRA), The Superyacht Show is a unique alternative to the traditional trade show focused on the customer experience.

“This show, the only one of its kind, is a key event in the nautical calendar and we are excited to host the second edition this May.” said Ignacio Erroz, General Manager at OneOcean Port Vell. “The success of 2018 has led buyers to recognise the buying and chartering opportunity the show offers for UHNWIs ahead of the summer season.”

Among many of the world’s most celebrated yachts from 33m to 88m, stars in the show include the iconic Maltese Falcon (88m) built by Perini Navi, Secret (82.3m) and Eminence (78.4m) built by Abeking & Rassmussen, and Solo (72m) built by Tankoa which debuted at the Monaco Yacht Show last year. Further highlights include Lady Christine, Triple Seven and New Hampshire to name a few.

Also on display is a selection of handpicked luxury lifestyle brands, yachting companies, sponsors and partners, including Pommery Champagne, Triton Submarines, Bulgari Jewellery and Francesc Maciá 10. Further attractions include an impressive display from Aston Martin, an in-water flyboard display by Nautibuoy and a complimentary hospitality area provided by BWA Yachting.

OneOcean Port Vell is a popular base port for large yachts perfectly positioned in the heart of Barcelona. Originally built for the 1992 Olympic Games, the marina currently offers 150 berths to yachts up to 190m in length, and boasts one of the world's longest docks at 440 linear meters.

The destination of choice for LYBRA, OneOcean Port Vell also played host to the MYBA Charter Show last week and will feature prominently during the Formula 1 Grand Prix which takes place in Barcelona from 10 -12 May.
