CrewMiles App Launches Manual Entry Option

Chief Engineer Chris Weirzbowski has developed the CrewMiles app during his spare time over the past six months. From personal experience and feedback from fellow crew mates, he wanted to do away with the hassle crew face when trying to maintain an accurate record of their sea time to gain certification. 

Using the latest GPS tracking technology, the CrewMiles App is a great solution!

You can create your own vessel database, select the relevant yacht for each trip and build a voyage history for that particular vessel. Yacht information can also be saved in the app to be sure you never forget the specifics. 

When you enable the automatic start feature, the next time you embark on a voyage the CrewMiles app will automatically start tracking your miles.

Manual Entry 

The latest feature to be released is manual entry. For crew who want to record previous miles, this feature allows you to enter earlier voyages so that all your sea time is saved in one place. It's also a great feature if ever you forget your phone (highly unlikely, we know!), allowing you to record sea time at a later date.  

Chris and the CrewMiles team are now in conversation with the governing associations to synchronise the export function on the app so your sea time can be extracted in the appropriate format for your next testimonial. One day soon it may also be possible for captains to verify your sea time digitally, simplifyng the process across the board.
