Working at Height or Over the Side

In view of the recent tragic accident on board a large motor yacht in Palma, in which a crew member fell into the sea whilst working over side, we would like to remind all members when working at height or over the side of the following advice:

MGN 422 - Use of Equipment to Undertake Work Over the Side on Yachts and Other Vessels  

A simple comparison of the requirements contained in the Code and the MGN with the recent tragic event in Palma highlights the need to spread the word about how to correctly carry out 'over the side’ work. Please pass this information on.
