An MV reported being approached by 4 skiffs at a speed of 20 knots in the Arabian Sea. The skiffs closed to within 0.6nm, before crossing the MV’s stern.
Two of the skiffs then headed in a north-easterly direction and the other two skiffs headed in a north- westerly direction, at speeds of around 20 knots. Due to the dark conditions, no other details could be reported.

Allmode Comment: It is not known if the MV had armed security on-board and it possible that this was probe from a Pirate Action Group (PAG) in the area. If the UKMTO realise any further information on this approach Allmode Intelligence with publish a follow up report
