General Information & Marina Services
The municipality of Aurland’s sea area covers Aurlandsfjorden and Nærøyfjorden, and the harbours at Flåm, Gudvangen, Aurland, Undredal, Dyrdal, Styvi and Bakka. The entire sea area lies within the Nærøyfjord section of the West Norwegian Fjords area on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. There are year-round scheduled boat services.
Aurland Hamnevesen KF – the Aurland Harbour Authority – is a municipal enterprise that operates harbours and builds new facilities. The organisation was founded in 1999 when the cruise harbour at Flåm came into use. The Harbour Authority has an office on the cruise quay at Flåm. Post, current items and filing are handled digitally by the municipality of Aurland.
