General Information & Marina Services

Golfito Marina Village is an exclusive haven on the west coast of Costa Rica surrounded by pristine rainforest, in the peaceful, protected harbour of Golfito Bay.

Adding to the appeal of its location, Golfito Marina is private, south of the hurricane zone and protected from the open ocean, allowing yacht owners to travel in and out of calm waters with ease and a sense of seclusion.

Golfito Marina is designed to cater to the needs of visiting yacht owners. The private berths are built to the highest international and Blue Flag Marina standards, and a dedicated team of marina staff, security personnel and concierge is on-call 24-hours a day to monitor and address the needs of superyachts, their owners and crew.

Other benefits include onsite customs and documentation processing offices and complimentary shuttle services throughout the resort.

Yacht Transport Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Golfito Marina is also the only approved drop-off and pick-up zone for yacht transport ships on the west coast of Central and South America, making this luxury enclave one of the most coveted destinations in the world.

Private berth owners can enjoy seamless mobility to and from this special region of the globe and our friendly team are on hand to oversee travel plans and facilitate your requests. Previously this level of privacy and service has never been attainable at a superyacht marina in Costa Rica, making it all the more appealing to visitors and residents.

Amenities and Activities

During your stay at Golfito Marina resort you'll be able to enjoy jet-skiing and dolphin watching, spa treatments, luxury shopping and dinner on the resort's floating island restaurant and nightclub.

Sport fishing is also popular year round and all of the fishing in this area has broken major records - of 590 IGFA world record catches in Costa Rica, 230 were in Golfito! There are numerous local charter companies ready to help you find the perfect fishing spot.

Other nautical activities available include diving, snorkeling and whale and dolphin watching trips that can be arranged via the marina office.
