Pirelli 35 and Pirelli 50 Speedboats Make Debut at Miami International Yacht Show 2023

Following the debut of the Pirelli 42 at the Fort Lauderdale boat show, the Pirelli-branded speedboats are back in the in U.S. at the Miami International Yacht Show, which is taking place until 19 February. Here, Sacs Tecnorib has chosen to show two of its top models for the first time: the Pirelli 35 and the flagship Pirelli 50. They have been chosen to represent the characteristics of the Italian brand in the U.S. market, becoming symbols of power, driving safety and design. A choice, that of Miami, that is dictated by the impact on boating that this show has had for years now, and not only for the United States: more than 100,000 visitors from all over the world, more than 1,000 boatyards and 1,000 boats on show for a turnover that reaches almost $1.5 billion.

Sacs Tecnorib, already present for years on the American market with the Sacs brand and a point of reference for those boat owners eager for “Made in Italy” performance and style, is launching Pirelli-branded inflatables also in Miami: its speedboat line is particularly appreciated for its design qualities that combine performance, comfort and design, thus meeting the demands and taste of sailors on the other side of the Atlantic.  Also contributing to the success of these inflatables is Pirelli’s growing brand awareness in North America, due to its involvement in motor sports, which precisely in this country is experiencing an increase in popularity and outreach.

The Pirelli-branded Walkaround Speedboats Line

Pirelli 50 is the flagship of a family with a distinct racing spirit that can count on three other models, the Pirelli 42, 35 and 30, the day cruiser which made its world premiere at BOOT in Düsseldorf and designed exclusively in the outboard version to accentuate the brand’s more adrenaline-filled and sporty spirit. Revolutionary for its walkaround layout designed by Ted Mannerfelt, today head of the Mannerfelt Design Team firm, which fundamentally changed the world of maxiribs, improving style and life on board, all models feature the CINTURATO™ Blue Full Wet tread pattern, the wet tyre used in the top motorsport competition in which Pirelli is present as the sole supplier, on a part of the side panel.

Designed also for medium-range day cruising and ideal as a superyacht’s chase boat, the 15-metre Pirelli 50 comes in two versions: inboard and outboard, the latter designed especially for the U.S. market. And indeed in Miami this maxirib is equipped with three powerful Mercury 600 hp engines, a guarantee for planing at over 50 knots. A model “that looks fast even when at a standstill”, already aggressive with the taut lines of the tubular structures and the sharp cuts of the deckhouse, softened by the sinuosity of the hard-top and the aft section of the gunwale. Not only speed but also safety, guaranteed by the numerous and convenient handrails alongside the sun deck and bulwarks. Relaxation areas abound on the flagship: an extendible teak coffee table can be found in the dinette. The comfortable and ergonomic helm station can accommodate up to three people: its elevated position above the deck enhances 360-degree visibility. Below deck, space, attention to detail and refined and sophisticated design stand out. The layout includes two double cabins.

The Pirelli 35, successful evolution of its sister Pirelli 42 and its winning solutions, is an inflatable with a double-stepped planing hull for utmost stability, safety and outstanding performance. In Miami it will be equipped with two brand new Mercury V10 400 hp engines. The much-appreciated walkaround philosophy allows maximum freedom of movement externally, which feature large sun decks and relaxation areas. Utmost safety when driving, with two seats, thanks to the monolithic structure that from the windshield morphs into the T-Top, always with Pirelli style and elegance. The interior layout includes a full-beam bed compartment at the bow and, on request, a separate bathroom, characteristics that make this 11-metre boat ideal for short- and medium-range cruises.
