YARE Announces Widespread Yachting Week to Promote Boating Industry

The nautical district from Livorno to La Spezia, the largest superyacht production hub in Italy, will be showcased in March with YARE (Yachting Aftersales and Refit Experience) and other synergy events dedicated to services, refits, subcontracting, technology, components and design in the nautical sector. This ‘widespread’ yachting week between Tuscany and Liguria will take place from 11 to 18 March, linked by the common thread of the Italian nautical industry which shows structural growth, exceptional results and a double-digit percentage increase.

From Wednesday 15 to Friday 17 March, YARE comes alive with tours of the captains in the shipyards of the nautical district. Thursday 16 March will host The Superyacht Captains' Forum organised by The Superyacht Group, while the B2B Meet the Captain event, the RINA Captains' Awards and the Passerelle Pitch will also take place during the event.

SEATEC/COMPOTEC, which is dedicated to technology, components and design in the nautical sector, is also scheduled to coincide with the event, being held on 16-17 March in Marina di Carrara. The Yare/Seatec Gala Dinner will also be a highlight.

Other events included in the yachting week are the presentation of the new nautical season, and ‘Experience the freedom. Discover Tuscany Sea and Lands’, which is set in the main ports of the Consorzio Marine della Toscana network and Mirabello Flute from 11 to 14 March. The floating show with display of luxury tenders and daily sea trials where a delegation of international captains will be present coming to YARE.

YARE is organized by NAVIGO, one of the main service centers in Europe for the innovation and development of the nautical sector and supported by the Distretto Tecnologico per la Nautica e della Portualità Toscana.
