YPY: The Environmental Footprint of a Superyacht

YPY 5

What is the environmental footprint of a yacht and how do we measure it? Environmental performance is top of the agenda for yacht builders, designers and yacht managers and yacht owners, so what can be done to reduce a yacht's impact on the environment?

Environmental protection is a growing concern and both national and international regulations are becoming more strict. Inceasingly, owners as well as charter guests are expressing interest in preserving the environment and the yachting industry is under pressure to keep up and innovate to reduce its impact on the planet.

On Thursday 12th January, Young Professionals in Yachting (YPY) is proud to welcome Giorgio Gallo, Enrico Ursomando and Fiorenzo Spadoni from the RINA Academy, who will share their experience, their vision and the methodologies implemented through RINA’s new Yacht Class Notation.

It's an evening not to be missed, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the latest developments and environmental legislation impacting the superyacht industry.
