There are only two weeks remaining to make your nomination for the superyacht industry’s most celebrated awards before entries close on 30 November, 2015.

An impressive selection of brand new sail and motor superyacht nominees, as well as a strong number of refit vessels, have already been entered for the 2016 competition. Owners must wait until after the shortlisting meeting in January to find out which yacht entries are in the runnings to receive a coveted Neptune trophy at the 2016 prizegiving.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to be selected as a World Superyacht Awards finalist and submit your nominations today.

Please note that the materials required to support your nominations, as detailed in the Rules and Entry Requirements, must be received by the administrators no later than the closing date of 30 November, 2015.

Call for Voyager's Award Nominations

In addition to the yacht categories, nominations are open for the prestigious Voyager’s Award until 26 February, 2016. The Voyager’s Award recognises a superyacht owner who has made extensive use of their yacht in long distance voyaging and exploration.

The Voyager's Award recognises not only yachts that have accomplished rugged voyages to high latitudes, but also welcomes nominations from owners who have cruised to areas rarely visited, explored new vistas in popular areas and cruises which incorporate interesting and perhaps educational adventures for children. The number of miles covered is of little importance, nor are long ocean crossings; it's what you see and do on your cruise that is important.

In 2015 the Voyager’s Award was given to the converted tug Arctic P, due to it’s daring and adventurous expedition cruising the Antarctic. Arctic P venutured to the most southerly location ever reached by any vessel, be it commercial, military or a yacht - a remarkable achievement that is now logged in the Guinness Book of Records.

This incredible record-breaking voyage is a most worthy winner of the 2015 Voyager’s Award.

The competition is free to enter and entries are invited from the owners or charterers of a yacht of over 30m in length that has undertaken a voyage of an unusual or exploratory nature during the period between 1 January, 2014 and 31 December, 2015.

Nominations for the 2016 Voyager's Award can be made via the event website.

Attending the World Superyacht Awards 2016

By special arrangement the eleventh edition of the World Superyacht Awards will be hosted in the impressive Palazzo Vecchio, originally decorated by Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, overlooks the marvellous Piazza della Signoria; one of the most famous symbols of Florence.

Attended by the great and the good of the superyacht world, owners and industry leaders will come together on Saturday 14th May to recognise the finest superyachts launched throughout 2015.

Due to the exclusive setting of this year’s Awards, a sell-out event is expected so be sure to make your table applications promptly via the event website to avoid disappointment.

Priority will be given to superyacht owners and the teams involved with finalist yachts and tables are not confirmed until payment has been received.
