MY Resilience Wins the C&N Crew All Stars Award

Camper & Nicholsons is delighted to announce that the fabulous crew on board MY Resilience, led by Captain Andrew Beattie, has been presented with C&N's annual crew All Stars Award for the best overall crew performance throughout the season.

Over the course of the busy charter season both charter guests and C&N staff have been impressed and have enthused about the crew onboard Resilience for always going the extra mile to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Camper & Nicholsons would like to extend hearty congratulations to the entire crew - worthy winners due to their supreme professionalism, talent and dedication to the job!

Resilience

Held on the eve of the Monaco Yacht Show and hosted by the Monaco Yacht Club, the Camper & Nicholsons Crew Stars awards is designed to pay tribute to the many hardworking crew who are part of the Camper & Nicholsons family. The competition is open to the crews on board all of the superyachts in C&N's fleet, including those under management or charter marketing. Voting this year was by a panel of judges across all C&N departments, including crew placement, yacht management, retail charter and yacht sales.

In addition to the award and a diploma, winners also received a range of prizes including a wine course from Riviera Wines, a night at Les Domaines de St Endreol Golfe & Spa Resort, a Fitbit from Global Marine Communications, Menu Dégustation at La Mère Germaine Restaurant, a Harmonie Massage, a Dolphin Wear voucher, a Riviera Gourmet Hamper, a Holylake Sailing School course and vouchers for pilates classes. C&N would also like to thank MDL Marinas Group and Cretan Olive Oil Export for their generous support.

Campers Crew Award

The official Camper & Nicholsons Crew Stars 2016 winners are as follows:

All Stars Award: Best overall crew performance throughout the season - MY Resilience.

Judges comments: The crew of Resilience were awarded the All Stars award after consistent and exceptional feedback from both charter guests and C&N's internal divisions throughout the busy charter season.

Rising Star: Most promising newcomer - Chef James Snelleman, Solis

Judges comments: Chef James Snelleman received the Rising Star award following his exemplary performance in the MYBA Superyacht Chef Competition after just two weeks on board Solis, for which he took first prize. James has also received fantastic feedback from both charter guests and Solis' four owners for his culinary skills.

Guiding Star: Best mentor throughout the season - Captain George Overend, Fountainhead.

Runner Up - Captain Sonya Meek, Eclipse.

Judges comments: Captain George Overend was nominated by two crew members on board the charter yacht Fountainhead for his leadership skills, kind-hearted approach and dedication. Feedback from C&N divisions was also superb. The voting was very close and Captain Sonya Meek on board Eclipse was runner up for her dedication and outstanding contributions as captain.

Shining Star: Stand out performance over the season - Chief Stewardess Naomi Pritchard, Solis

Judges comments: Chief Stewardess Naomi Pritchard onboard Solis won the Shining Star award for her exemplary service. Naomi also took first place in the Myba Tablescaping Competition. Joining the yacht at the beginning of the charter season, Naomi received excellent feedback from charter guests and the four owners of Solis,

Resilience 2

About 50m MY Resilience:

Launched in 2008, 50m Resilience (previousy MY Dream) was designed to deliver the best possible comfort for charter guests and, following a full refit in 2014, she continues to impress with her flexible layout, stylish design and luxury amenities.

Superyacht Resilence has an ideal layout for family groups or friends, accomodating 12 guests in six large staterooms. She has one master stateroom on the main deck, one VIP stateroom on the upper deck and four double staterooms on the lower deck, two of which can be converted into twin rooms. 

Living space on board Resilience is also comfortable but elegant, with beautiful furnishings and quality finishes such as oak wood panelling and Wenge flooring. Resilience is also fully up to date with on board communications, state-of-the-art entertainment systems and a fully equiped gym.

Captain Andrew Beattie at the helm has many years of experience on board busy charter yachts and, together with his exceptional crew, Resilience is raising the bar for charter guests looking for the experience of a lifetime!
