Introducing Ultimate Burma Yachts

BurmaYachtsThumbnail

As we enter the new year, we're delighted to announce that Ultimate Yachts is expanding with brand new destinations in the Andaman Sea, best visited between November and April.

Our new sister company - Ultimate Burma Yachts - is headed up by charter manager Yoann Martin. Martin is currently based in Borneo and joins us with ample experience, initially as a yacht broker in the Mediterranean and later as a boat manager in South East Asia for a number of years, where he obtained a wealth of experience cruising across the islands of Burma, the Mergui archipelago, Thailand and the Andaman Islands.

BurmaYachtsAndaman

From the bustling shores of Phuket, where towering rainforests and coconut plantations meet glitzy marinas, to a treasure chest of jewel-like islands dotted across the Andaman Sea, Southern Thailand provides a tropical getaway worthy of its popularity.

Just over the border, Burma's Mergui archipelago has a distinctive landscape characterised by coral fringed islands, flour-like white sand beaches, jungle-clad hills, lagoons, rivers and mangroves. A mere 800 islands and rocky islets await your footprints. While many remain deserted, some are home to the now semi-nomadic Moken people, a native sea dwelling ethnic group; these idyllic territories are truly out of this world.

La Numero Uno was originally built in 1983; the first yacht of a series produced by a world-leader in super sailing yachts, Italian shipyard Perini Navi.  In 2014 she was fully refitted and the result is an elegant, sophisticated sailing yacht with a modern touch.

Mischief

Mischief is a luxury phinisi-style cruiser that launched in early 2016. With traditional lines based on phinisi style, Mischief comfortably combines contemporary interiors with hints of the past using tropical hardwoods and a casual beach cottage style.
