Crew Membership Initiative

The International Superyacht Society (ISS) is pleased to announce Wright Maritime Group’s (WMG) support in providing yacht crew with STCW BST a one-year free membership in ISS. 

ISS President, Derik Wagner, comments, “WMG’s innovative approach to providing yacht crew with an entrance into this global organisation will build ISS’s important relationships with crew and give one of the industry’s most important groups, crew, a significant voice with top industry influencers.”

To enroll, STCW BST crew are asked to provide minimum information.

  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address                   
  • Years in yachting                            
  • A copy of STCW BST certification

Send specifics to ISS Executive Director, Amy Halsted, amyhalsted@gmail.com, or call her at +1 540.784.4561.  On receipt of information, ISS will email a confirmation of membership and the ISS membership logo.

AJ Anderson, WMG Managing Director/CEO and ISS Director as well as membership and technical committees chair, says, “There are compelling reasons for crew to become involved in the International Superyacht Society and for ISS to support crew. WMG feels strongly enough to underwrite this mutually beneficial relationship by sponsoring the initiative.”

The ISS membership committee has outlined benefits to crew participation in the global association.
