Burgess and bluewater Sell Nero

Nero from above Burgess140

In 2008, Burgess announced the magnificent newly built 90m NERO as Central Agents to the charter industry.

Inspired by the elegant “Corsair” series of yachts owned by the financier J.P. Morgan in the early twentieth century, NERO echoed the authentic line and form of the classic steam yacht while incorporating the speed, luxury and latest technology of the modern superyacht.

Designed and built to exacting standards, the breathtaking NERO has the authentic charm and elegance of the glamorous 1920's, complete with promenade deck, swimming pool and the special feature of a 5.5m side boarding platform which provides an excellent beach from which to swim, dive and access the yacht.

Following a resoundingly successful five year charter career comprising an illustrious guest list, this truly unique vessel has now been sold by Burgess as Central Agents in collaboration with bluewater who represented the buyer.

The asking price was €39,950,000 and Merle Wood served as Joint Central Agents. At 90m, the sale of NERO represents the largest brokerage yacht to be sold so far this year amidst optimism in a market showing increasing confidence.
