Team Headnorth has made it to the North Pole after six long days of trekking in -358C. The team reached the Geographic North Pole after fighting their way through ice fields and battling with whiteouts and wind storms.

Members of the team slept in icy tents and pulled 60kg sledges for 100 km over the frozen arctic ocean.

Y.CO's Gary Wright, Charlie Birkett and Yves Damette were joined by England Rugby World Cup winners Lewis Moody MBE, Josh Lewsey MBE and Danny Grewcock MBE, polar explorer Alan Chambers MBE, and Royal Marines Wayne Hoyle and James Nightingale.

'So far, we have raised £165,359 and reached 66% of our target. THANK YOU to all who have donated. Your generosity and support really kept us going through the tough times and freezing nights.

There is still time to donate. 100% of your donations go to our two amazing charities. The Lewis Moody Foundation supports children with brain tumours and their families, and funds scientific research into treatment. The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund provides a better quality of life to serving and retired Royal Marines and helps the most severely wounded return to civilian life.

You can donate online or make a private donation by emailing the team - just click on one of the links below. Every donation makes a difference, so please give whatever you can. Thank you.'
