Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – March 7th, 2013. Palladium Technologies is pleased to announce Mike Perkins as their Business Development Manager for Europe. Mr. Perkins, well known to many in the industry, had announced his retirement from Quantum last August. Mike Blake, president of Palladium stated, we have known and worked with Mike for some 13 years and during that time we witnessedhis dedication to the customers he served. It was our belief that Mike was not quite ready to be put out to pasture. We knew that Mike makes his primary residence in Italy and with our pursuit of a stronger foothold in Europe, we approached him with a proposal to become head of our European development team. Mike accepted the challenge and is now fully engaged in that mission.

Mike's marine industry career started in 1970 when he served as Master of a number of large private yachts where he virtually sailed all of the worlds oceans over a 20 year span. In 1989 Mr. Perkins was employed by Vosper Thornycroft UK, Ltd. as their Sales and Marketing Manager for North America. Then in 1999 he was appointed Vice President at Quantum Marine Engineering. Quantum specializes in the design and manufacture of ship motion control systems. During his tenure at Quantum Mike was charged with spearheading the introduction of the worlds first successful dual purpose fin stabilizer system (Zero Speed) and the rest, as they say, is history.

Palladium appreciates that Mike will bring the same level of commitment that he brought to all of his past endeavors. Enhancing Palladiums global reputation for their innovative technologies, the excellence of its global service, customer support along with the quality and unmatched performance of its product offerings.
