Italian Coastguard Saves Thousands of Immigrants From Certain Death

The Italian Navy and Coastguard have carried out massive rescue operations over the last few days. Over 2,000 migrants were recovered and brought to Europe and the volume of human trafficking was so great that one single Italian Navy warship had over 500 migrants on-board.
