The 5th Mediterranean Yacht Show has Arrived

After much anticipation, the 5th Mediterranean Yacht Show has arrived at last and excitement fills the air as Nafplion buzzes to the chatter of yachting professionals, all of who are eager to inspect the luxurious line-up of crewed charter yachts on display. As the show gets underway, it is obvious that this year’s turnout is bigger than ever!

Mr. Michael Skoulikidis, President of the Greek Yachting Association, declared the show officially open in the company of official dignitaries. Mr. Panagiotis Kouroumplis, the Minister for Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy was present to help get the show off to a successful start, accompanied by Mr. Petros Tatoulis, Regional Governor of the Peloponnese and Mr. Dimitris Kostouros, the Mayor of Nafplion. Mr. George Masaoutis, the Head of Regional Tourism Service in the Peloponnese, represented Mrs. Elena Kountoura, Minister of Tourism. 

Guests at the show’s Welcome Reception, which took place in the historic Palamidi Fortress, had the chance to enjoy a celebratory occasion accompanied by delicious finger food and music by 'Fortissimo' band, the electric string quartet.

Transfers & Transport

Visitors to the show can take advantage of two golf cars which have been provided for transfers to and from the dock or by car, courtesy of Volvo, the show’s Gold Sponsor. Please contact the GYA reception desk should you require transportation outside the dock area.

• A detailed map of the dock layout showing the position of each participating yacht in this year’s show is available at the GYA stand.
• A complimentary breakfast will be available throughout the show from 10:00 at the GYA stand, kindly sponsored by 3Sixty All Day Cafe Bar & Wine Restaurant.
