Show Management Acquired by Informa

Show Management owned by Active Interest Media's Show Management/YPI, producer of five of Florida's largest boat shows, has been purchased by Informa, a London-based academic publishing and events company. Informa currently delivers 200 industry events annually, including the Monaco Yacht Show, and is a FTSE 100 company listed on the London Stock Exchange.

Show Management was purchased in 2006 by Active Interest Media (AIM), publisher of more than 50 of the country's consumer magazines, including the Equine Network, the Home Group, the Healthy Living Group, the Marine Group, the Outdoor Group, and the Creative Home Group.

logo informa The acquisition of Show Management fits with Informa's strategic plan to expand its Global Exhibitions business in the US. At the end of 2016 Informa completed the €1.2 billion acquisition of US exhibition services company, Penton Information Services.
