The highly-anticipated PYA Sea Changes seminar, which offers concise industry updates and topical debates for yachting professionals, is continuing its successful format and will be held during the Monaco Yacht Show again this year.

The Professional Yachting Association (PYA), which runs the seminar as a service to its members and the yachting industry, this year will tackle the topic of sexual harassment in yachting. The results of the PYA’s recent industry survey will be revealed, followed by a panel discussion on initiatives to change attitudes and provide support for victims of harassment.

Also this year, along with industry updates from the PYA, MCA and RYA, the Sea Changes seminar will spotlight environmental action in yachting, another area in which the PYA is actively working to effect positive change. Leading industry figures will be in attendance to lend their weight and insight to the discussion.

The evening will conclude with networking drinks overlooking Port Hercule from the stunning rooftop terrace of the International Hydrographic Organization offices.

The event, which is critically relevant to captains, senior crew, yacht managers, industry professionals and yachting media, is free to attend for paying PYA members. For others, there is a small fee which goes towards supporting the ongoing activities of the association.

The PYA Sea Changes seminar kicks off at 4.30pm on Thursday, 27 September at the International Hydrographic Organization offices on Quai Antoine 1er in Monaco.
