This award has an additional significance. Namely, with this year’s award, Marina Punat became the most awarded marina in Croatia, winning this award for quality in nautical tourism for the seventh time. It is interesting that Marina Punat was excluded from competition after winning the award for year-long quality in 2011 in order to give a chance to others as well. This year, when we were again listed in regular competition, it became clear that Punat is the natural choice for all those looking for top quality offer in nautical tourism.

“We are especially pleased with this acknowledgement because it came in the year when the first marina on this side of the Adriatic Sea celebrated valuable 50 years of existence and successful work”, emphasized Krešimir Žic, President of Marina Punat Group Supervisory Board on the award presentation ceremony in Opatija and he added that the key in every successful business are always people, who, in addition to good organization, are offering quality solutions, innovations and progress in a specific activity such as nautics. “Creativity is the key to success so services and working methods are constantly upgraded with the help of state of the art technologies and own employees whom we are encouraging to be creative and make improvement proposals.”

And indeed, in a situation when new marinas are being opened and adapted and when everybody is investing in service improvement, this acknowledgement proves that, with hard work of all our employees, we are succeeding to maintain the leading position and provide you the very best currently offered in nautical tourism. And for all of you who chose Marina Punat for your visit or home port, this should be more proof that you made the right choice!

We are proudly announcing that Marina Punat won the Gold Anchor award and became member of the nautical family of marinas from all around the world which have this prestigious award. There are only marinas holding this gold label on the Croatian side of the Adriatic Sea while there are merely approximately 15 of them in the entire Mediterranean. The award is bestowed by the Royal Yachting Association, ICOMIA (International Council of Marine Industry Associations) and the British Marine Federation for more than 25 years. Five gold anchors are the maximum result confirming that our marina is at the very top  by all key indicators which this independent institution is measuring and that by our service we can compare favourably with the best nautical destinations worldwide.

Along with the satisfaction and loyalty of our guests for 50 years now, this is an important recognition for our continuous efforts to provide our guests the best possible security, comfort and truly nautical experience.
