Kata Rocks' New Superyacht Rendezvous in Phuket

This December the yachting elite will be heading to Phuket, for the inaugural 'Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous’ (KRSR), sponsored by Infinite Luxury, the management brand behind Kata Rocks. The exclusive event in southeast Asia’s luxury destination and superyacht hot spot will welcome sailing and motor yachts over 24 metres along with sponsors and industry partners.

Kata Rocks has hosted similar superyacht rendezvous over the past few years but this is the launch of the first event under their own brand. A haven of calm on the Andaman Sea, Kata Rocks is also an ideal location for this upscale event.

For Owners & Yachting Professionals

With a view to owners, there will be the opportunitiy to network at an exclusive owners' dinner in Kata Rock’s Sky Villa Penthouse. By invitation only, KRSR iwill play host to like-minded people, bringing Kata Rock villa owners together with superyacht owners in a relaxed and social environment.

Also with a view to the industry, charter managers will have access to excellent media coverage and the chance to meet potential clients at the Charter Season Opening Party.

Michael Nurbatlian, Marketing Director at Infinite Luxury concluded, “The Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous signals the opening of Phuket’s luxurious charter season and one of Asia’s largest luxury maritime markets.”

Industry Partners

Industry sponsors are also showing a keen interest, with Burgess, the leading superyacht brokerage, having already agreed to join the rendezvous as a participating partner.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Burgess as a partner. Burgess has been a pioneering player and true authority in the superyacht industry for the past 40 years and we share a similar passion about service excellence and attention to detail in our resorts and the yachts they manage” said Richard Pope, CEO of Kata Rocks.

Richard Lambert, Burgess Asia Managing Director, added, “We are thrilled to be part of the inaugural Kata Rocks Superyacht Rendezvous at this award-winning luxury resort."
