The International Superyacht Society (ISS) is proud to announce their strategic partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA), with active members now benefiting from dual membership and a common goal.

Founded in 1987, IYBA unites industry professionals engaged in yacht brokerage and yacht charter, with 1500 members representing over 500 businesses worldwide, bound by a Code of Ethics to protect against fraud, misrepresentation and unethical practices.

Together ISS and IYBA will work to advance and protect industry standards, focusing on mentoring, education and career development to enhance the overall professionalism of personnel working at sea and ashore. The partnership will also promote the lifestyle and benefits of owning and chartering yachts.

“The International Yacht Brokers Association has a long history of reaching higher in all aspects of professionalism and collaboration in the brokerage industry. The Society recognizes IYBA’s standing and sees the partnership as an important opportunity to raise industry standards while also letting potential owners and charterers know of the amazing life experience ownership and chartering offers.” said Captain AJ Anderson, ISS President and CEO of Wright Maritime Group.

“The fact is, there is substantial evidence that the industry is better off for IYBA’s existence. The Society’s partnership with the International Yacht Brokers Association will bring tangible results due to practical collaboration between both associations.”

“The International Yacht Brokers Association is pleased to be able to offer an additional benefit to our active members in the form of ISS membership. As the voice of professional yacht brokers, IYBA is committed to maintaining a high standard of conduct within the industry while marketing the life-time experience for potential owners and charterers." said Bob SaxonPresident of IYBA and VP of HMY Yacht Management.

"Our Partnership with the International Superyacht Society will further these causes as we work together on a wide range of issues for the yachting industry.”
