    Superyacht Tenders and Toys (SYTT) has noticed a growing trend towards head-turning land-based toys, having recently supplied three high-performance HPC Revolution bikes to the new build MY Cloudbreak. The HPC Revolution bikes, designed by aerospace engineers and hand built in the USA, also featured recently in the US version of Top Gear.

    The Economic and Commerce Department of Puerto Rico (DDEC) attended the Monaco Yacht Show for the third time this year, to promote the location and infrastructure of the island as an ideal host for superyachts. The Marina Port District, also known as Port Caribe Shipyard & Marina is benefiting from an investment of around $15 million during the first phase of development, with construction due to begin in 2017.

  • Sea Shepherd Removes Illegal Fishing Gear from Mediterranean Sea

    Sea Shepherd is protecting the Italian Mediterranean waters of the southern Tyrrhenian Sea through a direct-action campaign against illegal fishing: Operation SISO. Ten volunteer crew onboard a catamaran and RHIB – both equipped with a new hoisting system – were able to confiscate 20 illegal FADs (Fish Aggregating Devices) and 42km of polypropylene twine within the first 47 hours of their six-day undercover patrols around the Aeolian Islands.
