Northrop & Johnson Helps Kids in Distress and Rise $150K

On Saturday, November 1, Northrop & Johnson hosted the Kids In Distress yacht hop and charity event at our Fort Lauderdale Boat Show stand.

More than 200 guests joined to help raise money for Kids In Distress (KID), a Fort Lauderdale-based charity dedicated to the prevention of child abuse, the preservation of family and the treatment of children who have suffered neglect and abuse.

Guests mixed, mingled enjoyed cocktails and canapés while visiting a selection of Northrop & Johnson’s superyachts. Also Not only did proceeds from ticket sales benefit KID, but both silent and live auctions were held to raise additional funds.

Thanks to the efforts of Northrop & Johnson and KID, the event generated $150,000 in donations for the charity.
