2016 ShowBoats Design Awards: Nominations Open

Boat International Media is delighted to announce that the 2016 edition of the ShowBoats Design Awards will take place on Monday 22 February in Kitzbühel, Austria.

Nominations are now open for these prestigious awards which return to the Tyrolean Alps as part of the Superyacht Design Symposium's captivating programme for industry professionals and superyacht owners.



Now in its seventh year, the coveted golden Neptune awards have quickly become a symbol of pride and distinction for the industry’s design professionals. The Awards focus specifically on fundamental aspects of superyacht design such as naval architecture, exterior and interior design as well as interior layout, and brings the specialist design skills of the industry's most talented teams into the spotlight.

The ShowBoats Design Awards are distinguished by the fact that the winners are selected by a jury comprising yacht owners, acclaimed naval architects, designers and stylists from within as well as outside the marine industry and senior captain/project managers, all with expert knowledge in their specific fields.

Call for Nominations


Yacht designers, builders and owners are encouraged to submit their nominations before the closing date of 28 October, 2015. Any person may nominate a yacht, with the limitation that this person must be able to provide the requested information to support their nomination. 



To qualify, all yachts must be of over 30m and have been completed and delivered to their owners between 1 November, 2014 and 31 October, 2015. The full list of categories and entry requirements can be found on the ShowBoats Design Awards website.
