Norway to Welcome Visitors From July 15

The Norwegian government have announced that citizens and people with residency in EEA and Schengen countries can travel to Norway from July 15 provided the levels of infection are acceptable.

Quarantine will no longer be required on entry from these countries and regions however, if a new spread of infection occurs and a country or region no longer meets the criteria set by Norwegian Authorities, the quarantine on arrival can be reintroduced.

A list of countries and regions where the infection level is acceptable will be published on July 10 and will be updated every 14 days.

Guests and tourists from outside of the EEA and Schengen countries may enter and depart Norway on board a yacht. However they are not allowed to put their feet ashore, but may use tenders and toys.

Crew are currently allowed shore leave after 10 days quarantine provided they follow the regional COVID-19 infection prevention and control guidance. These days are counted from departure from the last foreign port.

A visit to the Fjords will now be more exclusive than ever and we can’t wait to visit soon!
